Game Rules β Liarβs Bar: Russian Roulette
π― Objective
The goal is to get rid of all your cards before anyone else.
π Deck Composition
- 6 Kings
- 6 Queens
- 6 Aces
- 2 Jokers (Wild Cards β can replace any card type)
Each player starts with 5 cards.
π Gameplay
- Each round, the game randomly chooses one card type to play (A, K, or Q).
- On your turn, you can:
- Play up to 3 cards that match the current card type
- Or bluff by pretending your cards match when they donβt
- The next player can either:
- Continue playing cards of the same type
- Or call you a liar (challenge your move)
π£ Consequences
- If someone is called out:
- If the challenge is correct (you lied) β you lose the round
- If the challenge is wrong (you told the truth) β the challenger loses instead
- The loser must pull the trigger in a Russian Roulette revolver with one bullet in six chambers.
- If you survive, the game continues; if not, youβre eliminated.
- The game continues until only one player remains alive β they are the winner.
π Starting the Next Round
- The player who starts the new round is determined by who lost the previous one:
- If a player was caught lying, they start the next round
- If a player incorrectly called a bluff, they start the next round
- If the loser was eliminated, the next non-eliminated player in turn order starts the new round
π Elimination & Card Rules
- The same 20 cards are used throughout the game.
- At the start of every new round:
- The deck is reshuffled
- Each remaining player receives 5 cards
- Any leftover cards (from eliminated players) are randomly left out of play for that round
- Examples:
- With 3 players, 5 random cards are out of play for this round
- With 2 players, 10 random cards are out of play for this round
- This keeps the game fresh and unpredictable β players never know which cards are missing, making bluffing riskier and more exciting!
